For as long as I can remember, I have always been very keen on art. We have never had an artist in the family and nobody had any clue about what I was on about. Luckily, later in life I received some guidance and I guess deep down I always knew I had to embark on this journey that I am on now.
I love the endless possibilities that painting offers, whether that be colour, shape or composition. I find inspiration anywhere and everywhere, in the innocence of a beautiful baby, in a gothic architecture or in my own imagination.
My work is influenced by both traditional and modern styles. I studied traditional Turkish and Ottoman art at school and some of my work is greatly influenced by these styles. I always explore and look for more ideas and inspiration. My work varies greatly in terms of size, medium and style. I especially like working in gouache, I also do a lot of work in oil and abstract.
I never really considered myself a landscape artist, but after moving to England, painting landscapes and seascapes has become irresistible. Kent never seizes to surprise me with its magnificent and tranquil countryside which is unique and truly beautiful in every season.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and showing interest in my work.
